january 2009 - a new visual identity
January 2008 - For its tenth anniversary, Dianova decided to revise its visual identity in order to adjust it to the organization’s current reality. To live up to this objective, the logo had to convey the continuity of Dianova’s unchanging values, while, at the same time, present them with a new, more modern and brighter image.
To reach this objective, we utilized the flexible and dynamic typography of the DIN font family, which we felt was also capable of communicating value and innovation. In addition, in order to give more depth to Dianova’s ongoing innovative character, the letter ‘n’ was modified to make it different and unique, emphasizing the way we look, through different eyes, at the rapidly changing problems of modern society.
Also, the use of lower rather than upper case letters, means being able to reach the public at large, ensuring the best and necessary proximity while facilitating the reading and visual recognition of our brand’s new identity.
The image-type which accompanies this typographical development has also been updated through a synthesis of the values initially transmitted by the previous logo’s sun, providing a similar graphical continuity with the new one. This continuity is also maintained in the colors utilized.
The new sun is meant to be the reflection of our work in the various fields of our commitment: addictions, youth and education. This sun is meant to communicate the warmth of the way in which we behave, our most human side, that of all those who work for Dianova in the service of others, welcoming them and guiding them to help them find, within themselves, solutions to their problems.

A new motto
Learn | Grow | Achieve
Dianova’s new motto, “Learn, Grow, Achieve”, is intended to evoke two processes: on the one hand, the practices of our organization itself, and on the other hand, the individual journeys of those in search of solutions through the network’s various programs.
Individuals, as well as organizations, take their own routes, a unique and intimate journey shaped by the relationships we establish with others and with the world, fashioning the special nature of this human adventure.
The following explanation is simply meant to identify their common framework.
Learn
The Dianova network lives to learn, as do those who benefit from our programs. Learning means changing as a result of experience; it means modifying one’s world vision as a result of introspection and positive interaction with others. Learning means being unbalanced. It also means taking risks, because we can learn only when trying to do something we can’t do yet at every level. Learning enables us to grow.
Grow
Growing means shaping one’s character; it means identifying with the very values which define us. The various programs of the Dianova network are based on a similar process of growth, which leads, day by day, to the individual’s accountability, first to himself, and then to others, as well as to the ability to learn from his own mistakes. Growing means building our future from our past experiences. And growing, finally, means being capable of achieving.
Achieve
Achieving means creating; it means demonstrating what we are through our actions. Building with responsibility and dignity means living every day as a success. It means making our dreams of a rich, meaningful life come true, both for each individual and for the organization as a whole.
