nov. 2009 - Dianova granted training certification in portugal

The ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity granted Dianova an official accreditation as a training center dedicated to designing, promoting and implementing educational training activities in the following fields:

- Personal development
- Training of lecturers/trainers in educational sciences
- Social sciences and behavioral sciences
- Organizational development
- Youth and childhood support services
- Social working and counseling

As well as in other fields that Dianova may deem appropriate or relevant.

This achievement is a milestone for the Dianova network development policy which focuses on training and educational activities; the training center will be implemented in Portuguese center Quinta das Lapas, while the following step will be the implementation of a project - "Education is the Best Prevention" - which will address personal development and cross-generational education issues and practices (parents/children).

Through this achievement, Dianova is fully in line with its policy of diversifying its activities with genuine initiatives with an added value in the various fields of knowledge exchange. This initiative will also bring about the opportunity to create bonds and share our experience with many other participants in the third sector.

The Network
Dianova is an international NGO with consultative status to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC), operating in 11 countries of the Americas and Europe. Dianova develops innovative programs and projects in the fields of education, youth, addiction prevention and treatment, as well as in the area of social and community development.
